Our Speciality - Cape Town Day Tours
Visit
the famous Victoria
& Alfred Waterfront, shop till you drop, or take a boat trip to Robben Island with its colourful
history since the first Settlers came to the Cape
and where South Africa's first democratically
elected President Nelson Mandela was incarcerated
for 18 years. It's all part of the excitement
of our Cape Town Day Tour.
Our Cape Town Day Tour allows you time to marvel
at the creatures in the Two
Oceans Aquarium… or if you are the sporting kind and have a Diving Certificate,
you can dive with the sharks in the Cape Town
Aquarium.
Why not enjoy the famous & traditional "High
Tea" at the elegant
Five Star Mount Nelson Hotel?…or listen
to a live jazz band whilst enjoying
a sumptuous seafood lunch or dinner before returning
home or going on to the Theatre, maybe one of
the many cultural shows in town? Why not be swept
off your feet with a cold glass of champagne at
sunset from your vantage point on Signal Hill, savouring the
awesome sight of the city below you and the vast
expanse of the Cape Flats and marvel at the spectacle
of the City lights at night?
Drive
with us along some of the most spectacular scenic
roads to Cape Point Nature
Reserve, where it is falsely claimed that
the two oceans meet, but nevertheless offers dramatic
views of the most southern point of the Cape Peninsula.
We drive along the coast, stop here and there
to enjoy the views or browse among the many
curio stalls on the roadside. The Naval
town of Simon's Town, where Penguins have the right of way and
smartly dressed sailors salute their superiors,
lies on the shores of False Bay. Old Naval Batteries
facing the Bay are silent witnesses to the defences
during the war. A Railway runs directly along
the shore and stops at all the little seaside
villages as it makes its way to Cape Town, e.g.via
Fishhoek, where
still today it is forbidden to have a liquor-store,
Kalk Bay with its
fishing harbour, the famous Brass Bell Restaurant
at St. James's, not to forget Muizenberg Beach, where the waters are always a
few degrees warmer than in Clifton or Camps Bay.
Take a Cable Car
( weather-permitting ) to the summit of Table
Mountain and see to the end of the world.
When you have had your fill, we visit the fabulous
gardens of Kirstenbosch.
Maybe we are in time for one of the many outdoor concerts
performed by outstanding artists in the arena
among the flowers.
To end this
beautiful Cape Town Day Tour we drive to
the world-famous estate of Groot Constantia, enjoy a glass
of wine and if you like, some dinner as well.
